AddisonsDisease.Net In The Community:

November 21, 2007

AddisonsDisease.Net has recently donated AddisonsDisease.Net Polo Shirts for the Seattle Pacific University Student Charity Golf Tournament in a benefit for the Addison’s Education Program and Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center, located in Seattle, WA.

We would like to share with all of our members and visitors an email received after the event.

"Jerry,

I would like to thank you so much for those polos! We gave them in our gift bags yesterday and all the golfers put them on to golf! It was so amazing to have them, and it was so generous of you and Addison's Disease.Net.  We had the most successful day we could have ever imagined!! This tournament was planned in four weeks time, and we raised $20,000!! The golf course said we had set a new record--that no tournament had ever been planned in that short amount of time, much less raise that amount of money! Annie was able to come and make a little appearance, although she has not been doing well lately, and had to leave early.  Her dad, Bill Sullivan, made a brief speech which was so amazing, and all the golfers were greatly interested in our Addison's Education Program.  Our goal is to actually continue this tournament into future years (the golf course wants us to, and also all the golfers were begging us to do another next year!)  Thank you again for all your help, it was so so appreciated! You truly helped us to make a huge difference in the community, and we cannot say enough to thank you!

Best Wishes in All You Do!

Meredith Hurley
